How to Install BUL111CB to Get Just the Outer Ring to Light

Question:

can i wire this so that just the outer ring lights up and not the center diodes ? there are three connections on this , 1= ground 2= outer 3 = center and outer ring is this correct ? i have amber turn signal lights just like these outer ring lights up for running lights and the center flashes with turn signal , with a 3 prong plug thats how it functions . i just want outer ring to light for ornamental purposes . thank you.

You can use this light # BUL111CB just as you are wanting to. You will just need to connect to the ground and the taillight function. This will just allow the ring to light up. The other connection will be the brake/turn connection which will light up the inside lights and the ring.
