Question:

so our led lights flash normally we are running 6 on rear of flat deck, however when left or right turn activated we get check bulb warning message on dash, will resistor take care of this as well? tailights are fine

It is pretty common for newer vehicles like your 2020 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 to have issues with trailers that have LED lights due to the factory computer expecting to see a certain draw from the circuit, but LEDs have a very low draw.

To fix the issue I recommend the 7-Way to 5-Way/4-Way Trailer Adapter for Vehicles with Lamp-Out Sensors Towing Trailers with LEDs # C35FR if your trailer has a 4-way connector on it, or the # 20142 if your trailer has a 7-way connector. These adapters have built in resistors to get rid of the check bulb warning you are seeing.
