How to Determine if XADAPT2 Will Fit 2012 VW GTI OEM Crossbars

Question:
I have a 2012 vw gti with oem vw base carrier bars which have the t slots on top. I’m looking to buy a 594xt roof bike rack, will This kit will work with it?

You will need to measure the T-slots of your 2012 Volkswagen GTI's crossbars in order to determine the fit of the Thule XADAPT2 AeroBlade and Xsporter Load Bar Adapter for Roof-Mounted Carriers # Xadapt2.
In order to fit, the T-slots need to accept the 25mm or 35mm T-slot bolts that the XADAPT2 has. I have added a link below to a video review for you to check out as well.
