To whom it may concern, Does the Curt hitch fit around the Chevy 31 gallon Fuel tank on my 1973 Blazer?

I checked with Curt, and their trailer hitch receiver will in fact fit and around the fuel tank of your 1973 Chevy Blazer, with the correct fit being the following hitch:
- Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13401
What you will have to do for your '73 Blazer though is drill out the forward-most attachment holes in the frame in order to mount the hitch. I have added a link below to a copy of the installation instructions for you to take a look at.
