This Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver gives your vehicle real towing capability with a 2" x 2" opening that works with most ball mounts, bike racks, and cargo carriers. Rated as a Class III hitch, it’s built for strength with a maximum gross trailer weight of 5,000 lbs and up to 10,000 lbs when used with weight distribution. The 500-lb tongue weight rating (1,000 lbs with weight distribution) makes it reliable for hauling small trailers, utility loads, or a fully loaded cargo setup without worry.
The hitch is made from sturdy square-tube steel and welded for maximum strength and precision fit. It’s finished in a gloss black powder coat over a protective base layer that stands up to corrosion from road grime and weather. That means the hitch stays solid and looks good even after years of use. The durable construction makes it ideal for both towing and carrying heavy accessories on the receiver.
Installing this hitch is simple thanks to its custom-fit design and bolt-on setup—no welding required. It comes complete with the mounting hardware and clear instructions so you can install it in the driveway using standard tools. Precision robotic welding ensures that all attachment points line up cleanly for a secure fit every time. Once bolted up, you’re ready to tow or mount your gear without any extra modifications.

Still appears to be attached. People’s shins are not a big fan of your product though. Heck, I ripped a jeep framed out and my hitch didn’t jettison through their back window. Other than my small trailer which it doesn’t see I’m still satisfied with my purchase
