Question:
can your bolt on CE Smith Front Hanger bracket for slipper spring be used for the rear? Can it be used for double eye trailer springs? I need to change my springs on a Tee Nee Trailer that had a 36 inch long slipper springs.

I recommend the Single-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for Double-Eye Springs # APS2. With the double eye leaf spring you will need to add shackle straps to allow the leaf spring front to back movement when compressing. While the CE Smith Front Hanger Bracket # CE14016G will bolt in place where your rear mount is it will not be the correct width to be used with the double eye springs shackle straps.
We have a great article "DOUBLE-EYE TRAILER SUSPENSION SYSTEM" linked below. This will help you with measuring for leaf springs and finding the correct weight to match what your Tee Nee Trailer requires.
