Will The Swagman XC2 Fit With The Spare Tire On A 2017 Jeep Wrangler?

Will this bike rack extend far enough from the rear of the Jeep to clear the spare tire? Thanks

Expert Reply:
The measurement from the center of the hitch pin to the closest hoop is 10 inches. Measure from the center of your hitch pin to the end of the spare tire. If that measurement is less than 10 inches then you will be fine. If not you want to get an extender like # C45795. If I owned a Wrangler, I would get a swing away system like the Kuat Pivot # PVP20B. This will allow you to have FULL access to the back of your jeep!

Either I am reading your reply wrong or just not understanding. If the measurement from the hitch pin to the first hoop is 10" wouldn't the measurement have to be longer 10.5" in order not to need an adapter?
