Thule EasyFold XT Will Not Remove From The Trailer Hitch Receiver

Question:

Got Thule Easy Fold XT for my Doge Dakota. It was installed by the dealer, but now that I want to remove it from the hitch, I am having problems. I have unlocked keyed lock and released the clip, but it still will not release and allow me to pull it out. Looking for advice?

If you were able to release the clip pin and turn the locking wheel all the way out to release the tension then the Thule EasyFold XT Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Frame Mount # TH903202 should be able to slide out of your hitch receiver fairly easily. It may take some wiggling and pulling as there could be some corrosion or build-up inside the receiver, but there shouldn't be anything on the bike rack preventing removal as long as the clip is released and the wheel is unlocked. I attached a video that shows the removal of this bike rack at approximately 4:35.
