Question:

Hi I’m looking to add 2 Hullavators to my 2020 Toyota Highlander XLE. So far I have only found a Yakama system to fit the rails that are flush not raised. Can I install the Hullavator on that system? Thanks

The Thule # TH898 Hullavator can either clamp onto a crossbar like the Yakima CoreBar, or its mounting hardware can slide into the channels mounted into the top of Yakima JetStream Crossbars.

You don't mention which roof rack you'd looked at, but either the Yakiima JetStream or CoreBar roof rack would work with the Hullavator. The CoreBars don't have the slots in the top, while the JetStream Bars do.

Because the Hullavator takes up 28-1/2 inches of crossbar space, in order to fit 2 Hullavators on the roof rack, you'll need the 60 inch crossbars. For a CoreBar rack, use the following parts:

• 60 inch CoreBar crossbars, part # Y00422
• SkyLine towers, part # Y53TR
• Yakima Landing Pad 28, part # Y66VR

For the JetStream roof rack, I'd recommend the following parts:

• JetSteam crossbars part # Y00426
• SkyLine towers, part # Y53TR
• Landing Pad 28, part # Y66VR
