Option For Possible Replacement Lock For X-Cargo 18 Rooftop Cargo Box

Question:

I have sears Xcargo 18. The one with they grey top. I need to replace the locks on it. How can i get a double lock set with the same key? Or do they all have the same key. Sears X Cargo Carrier Model 300-7260

Replacement locks are not available for a Sears X-Cargo 18 cargo box, though there is one option that may be able to work, which is the Replacement Lock Core and Key for SportRack Explorer Cargo Box # SR03807.

Some people have gotten these to work on X-Cargo boxes though it will likely require modification and I can't guarantee a fit; you'll want to compare this lock to yours to see if it looks similar. I know it's not what you were looking for, but I did want to at least throw out that option, as the only other thing you can do is replace your cargo box with a new one like the Trunx Rooftop Cargo Carrier # TRX44FR.
