When the choice is available, I'll typically recommend going with a Class III hitch with the 2 inch receiver opening, as there are many more available choices for hitch mounted accessories. If your bike rack is compatible with a 2 inch receiver, I'd recommend a partially concealed design hitch like the Curt Class III, part
# C13343. This hitch would have the crossbar concealed behind the bumper, with only the receiver tube and the safety chain loops being visible. If you'd prefer the less expensive fully exposed model, go with the Curt Class III, part # C13105.

If your bike rack is only compatible with a 1-14 inch receiver, use the # C12065 Class II hitch.

If you don't already have a bike rack, I'd be happy to make some recommendations if you reply with the number of bikes you want to carry. Knowing the type/brand/style of bike would be helpful as well.
