Question:

I have a 2020 Kia Soul. You list 2 hitches which are both 1 1/4 class 1. I need a platform rack hitch and like the Saris Freedom rack for its weight capacity as the 2 bikes to be carried will weigh in at approx 100 lbs. but info says class two hitch. Can you help? Any recomendations?

You are correct that the hitches for the 2020 Kia Soul like the Curt, part # C67FR, are Class I and the bike racks need to be rated for Class I hitches. The Saris Freedom, part # SA4412B, requires a Class II or higher hitch in order to be utilize its full capacity. It will work with a Class I hitch, but it will reduce its capacity per bike to 35 pounds.
