Question:
I have a Blue Ox, Rangefinder II, model BX4322 tow bar that I want to use to tow my 2001 Jeep Cherokee behind my RV. It looks like the RM-037 adaptor kit will allow me to do so. Does the bracket bolt directly to the bumper of of my Jeep?

You will need to purchase and install the Roadmaster custom base plates for your 2001 Jeep Cherokee. The Blue Ox Rangefinder II to Roadmaster Bracket Adapter, part # RM-037, is designed to attach to Roadmaster base plates and then to the Blue Ox Rangefinder tow bar. As long as your Cherokee does not have a brush guard installed the Roadmaster XL Base Plate Kit, part # 1418-1, will attach to the vehicle frame and the # RM-037 will make the transition to your Blue Ox tow bar. The base plates do not attach to the vehicle bumper.
