Published 03/07/2021 >
Question:
The operator manual for my 2020 Subaru Ascent Limited says I cant use a weight distribution system for the vehicle...I guess its because of the electronic system thats supposed to deal with that...but I do have trailer sway Id like to fix. Is there anything thats ok to use?

In this case, your best bet is the Reese Friction Sway Control Kit # 83660, which will bolt on to the trailer frame and provide you with sway control. You'll also need the Reese Sway-Control Bracket for 2" Ball Mounts - Class III and IV # RP26003 to give you a connection point for the system.
I've linked some review videos of these parts for you to check out.
