I am looking at FA92-02-4315, is the a similar reciever but with a 2-1/2” that goes into the hitch so I would not need an adapter? Thanks

We offer couple of 2-1/2 inch weight distribution shanks that could work for you. If up to a 9-1/4 inch drop/12 inch rise would work for you, then I'd recommend the Curt # C17132 shank. If you need more rise or drop than that, the Equal-i-zer # EQ34FR would offer up to 15 inches of rise or 12 inches of drop. If you don't need quite as much height adjustbility that's offered with the # FA92-02-4315, the Equal-i-zer # EQ90-02-4900 which offers a rise up to 10 inches and a drop of 6 inches would be a good choice.
All 3 shanks use the same 1-1/4 inch hole spacing and would be compatible with most weight distribution hitches.
