Question:

Hello, I have a hitch mount bike rack made by BV. The threaded bolt that secures the rack into the hitch has broker. Do you carry a replacement for this? Thanks

We don't carry BV products, so I couldn't say if any of the bike rack threaded hitch pins we offer would be a compatible replacement.

If your rack has a 2 inch hollow shank and doesn't use an adapter, a universal option like # SHP2061 would be a likely replacement. You'd need to remove the threaded block from the inside of the shank of the rack and replace it with the one included with the # SHP2061. If you have a 1-1/4 inch hollow shank, the # F-315 would be a possibility. Once again, you'd need to remove the threaded block from inside the shank.

The problem with trying to use the # Y8890176 Yakima hitch pin you'd looked at, is the unknown thread pitch of the threaded block in the shank of your bike rack. I couldn't guarantee that the # Y8890176 or any other pin would work with 100% certainty.
