Question:
i have 2019 Chevy Suburban. I am interested in a dual Thule hullavator setup. What Thule cross bars and length would you recommend? We have two Oldtown Loon 120 kayaks - each kayak is 54 lbs and 30 wide. Regards,

While we do have some roof rack bar and kayak carrier options, none of them are 76" long crossbars that you need to fit two # TH898 Hullavators on your roof. You would also need at least 188 lbs roof weight capacity for everything which is pretty hefty. We have other kayak carriers with load assist to some extent, but they all require a little more over the head lifting compared to the Thule Hullavator.
For those looking for the dual Hullavator setup but don't have that rare vehicle that has enough roof space (at least 76" long) and weight capacity (130+ lbs), I have another suggestion. Have you considered a kayak trailer instead? We have some great options from Malone like the Malone Microsport # MPG461GS with even nicer V-style kayak carriers.
The benefits of a kayak trailer is that you don't have to struggle to lift your kayaks on or off your roof, plus you can keep them stored on the trailer when you want to drive your Suburban out and about. The price of a full roof rack system plus two Hullavators is about the same or even more than a good kayak trailer. You already have a factory hitch on your 2019 Chevrolet Suburban and would just need a ball mount like # C45036 to tow the trailer and a cable lock like # e98891 to wrap around your kayaks.
I attached some review videos below if you want to check those out.
