Parts Needed to Install 7-Way and Brake Controller in 2019 GMC Acadia w/o Tow Package

Question:

I have a 2019 GMC acadia without factory towing. We just installed a hitch rated for 4000lbs. Next is to wire it up for 7-blad round connection. Im getting confused as to what we need to buy for wiring. Can you assist? I am also wanting a brake controller, the draw-tite #5535. If you can tell me what i need, i will buy and install as long as the instructions are complete. Thank you.

Since your 2019 GMC Acadia does not have the factory tow package you will need to first install a 4-way on your vehicle with the # C56325 and then convert it to a 7-way with the part # ETBC7 which comes with everything needed to also wire up a brake controller like the Brake EVN # TK63VR.
