Question:
I have your Go Power 2000 watt inverter. GP-ISW 2000. it does not have a transfer switch built in. I also have the go power simple remote to turn it off and on. But how best to be sure we dont leave it on when going for shore power?

You can use the Go Power #34264403 Automatic Transfer Switch for 30 amp service. This transfer switch automatically changes from inverter to shore power when you hook up at the campground. It also protects your electrical system from AC power backfeed. I have attached a graphic showing a typical set up. I have also attached detailed wiring instructions for this unit as well.
