Does EcoHitch for 2015 Volkswagen Passat have Reported Ground Clearance Issues

Question:
I currently have the Curt 1 1/4inch hitch on my 2015 Passat and it hangs down so low it hits the ground quite frequently when going in and out of parking lots without anything connected. I see that the Ecohitch sits up higher, has anyone had issues with it hitting the ground?

The EcoHitch part # 306-X7317 does sit up a bit higher which helps with ground clearance. At this time we have not had any customers report back that they had clearance issues.
