Will Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver 36597 Be Able To Carry One Bike With 2020 Honda CR-V
Updated 02/19/2021 | Published 02/18/2021 >
Question:
Have 2020 Honda CRV-EXL Not Hybrid...will only ever use this hitch for 1 bike and rack...have Yakima Literider 2 rack and Specialized hybrid bike. The specs for this hitch states 350 lbs. TW. I particularly like that no bumper facia has to be trimmed with this hitch. Please confirm that this hitch will work ok for this single purpose? I will never need to use it to tow something else! Please confirm and that I would not need class lll 2inch hitch like Draw-Tite #76128, Thank-you very much.

The Draw-Tite Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class II - 1-1/4" # 36597 you were looking at is confirmed to fit your 2020 Honda CR-V EXL since it is not a Hybrid version, and will work perfectly with your Yakima LiteRider 2 bike rack with one bike.
You are correct that the # 36597 has a maximum tongue weight rating of 350lbs which is more than enough for one bike and a your bike rack.
I included a video of the # 36597 being installed for you to take a look at.
