Picking Out Replacement Trailer Grease Seal for Hub that Bearing Buddy Blew Out Seal of
Question:
Got a boat trailer, installed a new bearing assembly including bearing buddies. Overgreased one side and it forced out through the rear seal. So Ill need to pull off the bad one for comparison to assure I get the correct replacement, right?

Bearing Buddy's make it easy to put grease in a trailer hub but like the experience you had they almost make it too easy as it becomes very easy to over fill the hub and blow out the seal like you expereinced.
To replace the seal you are going to need get the diameter of the hub where the old seal fits as well as the diameter of the spindle where it was riding so that we can pick you out the right size. I also attached a link to a page that has all of the grease seals we offer which you can select the size needed from the filters on the page.
