Question:

T2478100 I dont understand about the reverse lockout thing. It isnt clear in the video. I am using an old truck rear end. It has drum brakes. Do I need something specail?

The reverse lockout on an actuator like the Titan Zinc-Plated Brake Actuator, part # T2478100, is a feature that prevents the actuator from activating your brakes while backing up. Without it, when you back up, the actuator compresses and applies the brakes. This can make backing up difficult especially on an incline.

Luckily, this actuator can easily be equipped with lockout by using the Replacement Solenoid Valve for Titan Brake Actuators with Reverse Lockouts, part # T4748800. It replaces the thread adapter. I've linked to a video installation that also goes into some detail about lockout for you to look at.
