I have another option for you, but the DeeZee Tailgate Assist Custom Tailgate-Lowering System for Pickup Trucks # DZ43205 you were looking at is designed to fit a 2017-2021 Ford F-250/350/450 and will not fit your 2005 Toyota Tundra.
Instead I recommend the Hopkins EasyLift Truck Bed Tailgate Lift Assist # 74211 which at this time is the only tailgate assist system confirmed to fit your vehicle.
