My trailer dust caps measure just a little over 1 3/4 inch are these the proper parts to replace them?

In order to determine which bearing protector or dust cap to use, you'll need to either measure the hub bore diameter or get the reference number from the outer bearing. This measurement needs to be precise in order to get the correct fit, so you'd need to use a highly accurate measuring device like a digital caliper such as part # PTW80157.
The CE Smith # CE16270 bearing protector fits a 1.781 hub bore and is the closest thing we offer to fit something just a bit larger than 1-3/4, so it could potentially be a fit, but you'll want to measure to be sure.
