Need motor and gearbox for a 1989 pace arrow electric step. Can you tell me what I need and if you have it? Thanks

So while we do have some options for you, there are no longer specific motors and gearboxes for electric steps manufactured before 1999, so for your 1989 Pace Arrow, what you will likely need is a motor upgrade kit, which includes the motor, linkage, control unit, switch kit, and hardware for installation.

Keep in mind that this would only be for specific Kwikee steps, with the right one depending on the series of Kwikee step you have.

- Kwikee Series 22, 23, 28A, 30, 32, 33, 34, 35, 36, 38, and 40: Motor Upgrade Kit for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC379145

- Kwikee Series 28, 31, 37, and 39: Motor Upgrade Kit for Kwikee Electric RV Steps # LC379769

This will upgrade your current steps with the modern parts for Kwikee steps to get them in working order. Otherwise, if you do not have a Kwikee step, you will need to replace your step assembly depending on the number of steps you need and your mounting space. For example, for two steps with a 23-3/4" wide x 11-3/8" deep mounting plate, you would need the Kwikee Electric RV Step Complete Assembly - 24" Wide # LC372261.
