Is There a Brass Version of the Replacement Washerless Cartridge Stems for Phoenix Faucets

Question:
Is there a brass stem that can be used to replace this plastic version? Children keep messing up the threads on the stem by trying to over tighten or by opening them too far and the handles have had to be replaced too many times. Im looking for a more durable alternative.

I called Phoenix Faucets to confirm this. The Replacement Washerless Cartridge Stems for Phoenix Faucets Dual Handle Faucets, part # PF187025, only comes in a plastic variety. There is not a brass version made for this piece.
