Question:
Hello. Thinking about buying gutter mount Thule roof rack for my JL wrangler. Will the Thule wings evo and hull-a-port system be a good option . Says it can support up to 165 lbs. Probably be hulling 2 kayaks in the future, currently only need the one rack. For my one boat. Also install video mentions lock cores? Do these go into the knobs on the feet so that people can’t loosen my rack and potentially cause my rack to fall of vehicle. Also what is the parts number? Any other recommendations would be appreciated.

The Hull-A-Port System only holds one kayak, and only one Hull-A-Port can be mounted on your Jeep. If you are going to be hauling two kayaks in the next year or so, then it makes sense to go with a 2-kayak option now.
For a Jeep I like the Exposed Rack # ER49FR. With these crossbars installed you can use the Thule # TH890000 Post Style 2-kayak carrier which will attach to the square bars of the rack.
