Why Is Recommended Cover for a Forest River R-Pod 177 Shorter Than Length of Trailer

Question:

I am searching for a cover for my 2013 Forest River R-pod, RP 177 and your site recommends the following: Classic Accessories Deluxe PolyPro III HD Cover for R Pod Trailer - Up to 16 2 Long Item # CA80199. What concerns me is that my trailer is 18 8, so it doesnt make sense that a cover that fits up to 16 2 would work. However I do see in the reviews that others with the same camper use this cover. Can you please explain how a cover that says it will cover a trailer up to 16 2 will work for my 18 8 travel trailer? I want to purchase the right cover the first time. Thank you!

The Classic Accessories Deluxe PolyPro III HD Cover part # CA80199 is a great option for a Forest River R-Pod 177. It is listed as fitting trailers up to 16' 2" long. The Forest River R-Pod 177 is listed as having a length of 18' 8" long but this includes the tongue of the trailer which the cover does not go over therefore the actual cover dimensions will be shorter.
