Since the turn signals and brake lights are on the same circuit, I recommend disconnecting the trailer and testing the vehicle side connector using a circuit tester like # PTW2979 if needed to determine if power is coming through. If it is not then the issue is on the vehicle side. I would need to know the year, make, and model to determine what might be the problem.

If power is coming through like it should move on to the trailer. First make sure that the main trailer connector ground is attached to a clean and corrosion free bare metal surface. Do the same for each of the lights. Any dirt or corrosion on the trailer connectors will need to be cleaned out.

If everything is wired and grounded properly then once again disconnect the trailer and use a separate 12 volt battery to apply power to each of the lights to make sure they are working. If they do not light up then there could be a problem with the lights or some bad wiring on the trailer.

If they do light up then it could be a case of not enough power draw from the LEDs for the system to recognize them. There are some vehicles on which this could happen so I would need to know the vehicle to determine that.
