For your 6500lb boat I highly recommend the Jif Marine 2-Speed Trailer Winch # 315-W3200D which has 2 speeds like you were looking for, and the 3200lb capacity will be plenty to pull your boat onto the trailer.

In addition the polyester strap will hold up better than a cable for a marine application, not to mention the additional safety that should the strap snap, it would not be nearly as dangerous as a cable flying around.
