Is the Titan BrakeRite Waterproof

i was wondering if it is water proof are has to be covered and if it is safe to use on a boat trailer

In order for something to be waterproof it needs to be able to be submerged under water for a certain amount of time and not allow any water in. I spoke to my contact at Titan and he informed me that the Titan BrakeRite EHB Electric-Hydraulic Actuator is water resistant, but not water proof.

What this means is that as long as you do not submerge this unit under water you should be fine. It will withstand rain but you would not want to let it get submerged.

These get used on boat trailers all the time and should work very well for yours.
