How To Adjust The Cradle Angle On The Yakima RidgeBack 4 Bike Rack
Updated 01/06/2021 | Published 01/03/2021 >
Question:
On the page https://www.etrailer.com/question-329371.html regarding the Yakima Ridgeback 4, you say the cradles can be angled about 20 degrees to adjust their angle and better conform to your bike. Can you tell me how exactly I can change the angle of the cradles? The instructions just say twist, but... they dont move. Do I have to loosen the set screw?

The Yakima RidgeBack 4 Bike Rack - 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches - Tilting Item # Y02458 cradle does have a set screw on the bottom. That screw needs to be loosened in order to change the angle. Keep in mind you are only able to change the angle of each cradle. the positioning front to back on the post is stationary.
