Will Roadmaster Baseplate to Blue Ox and Demco Tow Bar Adapter Fit Roadmaster 131-15 Base Plate Kit

Question: will RM 033 Roadmaster adapter with 4 hole attachment points bolt directly to Roadmaster RM 131-15 baseplate to be installed on my 1991 Chevrolet K1500 1/2 ton non diesel full size truck? One of you associates has indicated that the two component will be an exact fit. I do not understand that the bolt holes on the adapter at 27” inside holes and 30” outside hole will align on the bolt holes on the removable brackets on the base plate. Please advise and thank you for your additional “fit” conformation.

I reached out to my contact at Roadmaster and he confirmed that the RoadMaster Base Plate to Blue Ox and Demco Tow Bars Adapter # RM-033 will fit just fine on the Roadmaster Crossbar-Style Base Plate Kit # 131-15 base plates you are looking to install on your 1991 Chevrolet K1500 1/2 Non Diesel Full Size.
He did mentioned that the Roadmaster Tow Bar Adapter # RM-032 would also fit and would be his recommendation as it can be removed from the base plate kit easier than the # RM-033 which does not have the quick disconnect pins.
Either of these adapters will allow you to use multiple different Blue Ox and Demco Tow Bars.
