Question:

I have set of Thule 754/480 mounts from my VW Golf and would like to know if a fit kit is available so they would work on my 2012 Passat? If so, do you have them? Also, Im interested in a 2 receiver for a bike rack for the Passat. Thanks.

I have a replacement option but the Thule Roof Rack that you have on your 2001 Volkswagen Golf uses the Thule Rapid Traverse Feet # TH480R and there is not a fit kit for those feet confirmed to fit your 2012 Volkswagen Passat. Also the crossbars used on your Golf are 47", and the Passat uses 53" crossbars.

For your 2012 Passat I recommend the Thule WingBar Evo Roof Rack System that uses 53" Thule WingBar Evo Crossbars # TH711400, Evo Clamp Feet for Thule Crossbars # TH710501, and Fit Kit # TH145185. This roof rack system will give you 53" of useable crossbar space, and can be secured to the roof of your vehicle by adding the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders # TH450400.

The only 2" trailer hitch receiver confirmed to fit your Passat is the EcoHitch Hidden Trailer Hitch Receiver # 306-X7317 which has a hidden cross tube which leaves only the receiver visible once installed as you can see in the included picture. The EcoHitch # 306-X7317 has a maximum tongue weight rating of 300lbs, and a maximum trailer weight rating of 2000lbs.
