Question:

I was curious what the clearance is for this roof rack. That is, the height of the clamp from the roof to the bottom of the bar. The Rhino-Rack ROC25 Roof Rack # RR78TR is a newer system designed to be extremely low profile. The exact roof clearance depends on how much your roof slopes. When we installed this on a 2019 Nissan Rogue, we found the clearance from the roof to the bottom of the FRONT bars to be 1-1/2 inches at the center of the roof and 2 inches near the towers. The rear bars only had a half inch of clearance! I attached the review video at the bottom of the page if you want to see it in action.

We played around with this rack when we first got it in and we found that most of accessories with large clamps or long bolts did not fit on this rack because of that limited clearance. It's still a great roof rack and I love its sleek design and easy install process, you just have to be more mindful when buying accessories and try to get ones that mount onto the t-track.

If you're looking for a compatible rooftop box, then the Thule Force XT L # TH6357B will work since you can get the T-Track Mounting Hardware # TH27PQ to replace the clamps.

If your antenna is taller than the roof clearance plus the height of the bars (1-3/16"), then I recommend getting a different roof rack. An Inno System with parts # INXB108-2, # INXS200, # INK684 will allow you to have that low-profile design with its Inno Flush Feet # INXS200 and a little more roof clearance. When I installed this system on a Toyota Tacoma, I found it to have about 3" of clearance from the roof to the top of the bars.
