Will Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver Stick Out Past Bumper On 2020 GMC Sierra 3500 HD

Question:
Does this front hitch extend past the bumper? I dont want the hitch to extend any past the bumper to where I will hit it when walking by and nothing is in it.

I reached out to Draw-Tite directly regarding your concern. My contact confirmed that the Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver # DT57MR will stick out roughly 3" from the bottom section of your bumper when installed on your 2020 GMC Sierra 3500. He mentioned that the reason for this is to ensure enough clearance from the front bumper and grille when you have an accessory installed in the hitch.
