Fit of Thule Pulse XL Roof Mounted Cargo Box # TH615 on 2013 Acura RDX

Question:

I have a 2013 Acura RDX with the factory roof rails and cross bars. Will the Thule Pulse XL # TH615 fit my application? Thanks.

The Thule Pulse XL # TH615 Cargo Box will fit crossbars with a maximum width up to 3 inches and a minimum spread (distance between front and rear crossbar, measured from center bar to center bar) of 23-5/8 inches. If the OEM rack on your RDX meets these parameters, the box should fit.

The next thing to determine would be if you'll be able to fully open your rear hatch while the box is in place. There's a measurement you can take to determine this. If your front crossbar can be slid forward or backward, slide it all the way to the front. Then, measure from the center of the front bar rearward until you reach the seam between the roof and the hatch. If this distance is greater than 46-3/8 inches, the box will fit just fine.
