Question:

We recently bought a BandW Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 25,000 lbs Item # BWRVK3600 for our 2020 Ram Laramie 2500. We would like to know what lock you might recommend for the hitch handle to replace the pin. In addition, we would like to know what lock you may recommend for the king pin on our 2021 Grand Design Reflection 150 Series. Thanks!

I spoke with my contact at B and W and while they do not have a specific locking pin for the head on the Companion hitch # BWRVK3600 we can help. You could replace one of the pins with Kuat lock # HL1. It is a 5/16 inch diameter so it would fit loose in the 3/8 hole. The span of the pin is 3-1/2 inches.

Then for a king pin lock you could use the etrailer 5th Wheel King Pin Lock part # e98896.
