The hitch for a 2016 GMC Acadia comments indicate that the door facia must be removed and may not be able to be reattached. What does that mean?

The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver part # e98863 is what I recommend for a 2016 GMC Acadia as it will allow you to re-install the rear fascia door. The rear fascia door is the plastic cutout panel in the rear bumper that gets removed to show access to the hitch. There are some hitches that once installed do not allow you to reinstall this to cover the hitch but the above does so that is what I recommend.
