How To Determine Enough Clearance on Jeep Wrangler for Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier

Question:

Im wanting to put a scooter on the back of my 2019 Jeep Wrangler but I really want to keep my spare tire on there I was just wondering if Id have enough room with this particular unit

Your spare tire clearance will depend on your trailer hitch and the size of your spare tire on your 2019 Jeep Wrangler. To know how much clearance you need with your spare tire, you will need to measure the distance from the center of the hitch pin hole on your trailer hitch to the back of your spare tire. I have linked a help article that will walk you through this process.

The Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier # UF48-979033 measures 15-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole to the closest edge of the carrier. If your spare tire requires more than 15-1/2 inches of clearance then the carrier will not work for your scooter. If this is enough clearance for your tire, I recommend making sure that the width of the scooter, which will stick out past the carrier, is not so much that it will contact your spare tire.
