The hitch best suited for your truck will depend on if your 2021 GMC Sierra 2500 is a short or long bed and whether your truck is equipped with the factory tow/prep package which includes the puck mounts in the truck bed.
If you have the puck system, for a short bed you'll need a sliding hitch to provide the proper clearance between the front of the fifth wheel and the rear of the truck cab during low speed turns. I'd recommend the B&W Companion, part # BWRVK3775. The US made Companion will drop right into the pucks and will secure in a matter of moments (after possible initial one-time adjustments). The 1 inch thick jaw will hold the king pin very tightly which will lead to a comfortable ride without much of the chucking you'd experience with other hitches. If you have the long bed truck, use the stationary version, part # BWRVK3710.
If your truck does NOT have the factory puck system, for the short bed I'd recommend the B&W Patriot, part # BWRVK3270 or for the long bed truck, the stationary model part # BWRVK3255. The Patriot offers 3/4 inch thick jaws that still offers great ride quality. For either hitch, you'd need the # BWRVK2505 bracket/rail installation kit.
