Confirming Fit of Roadmaster # 1175-1 Base Plate Kit on 2012 Toyota Tacoma 4x4

Hi there, I have a 2012 Toyota tacoma four door 4 x 4 pick up Im n search for the base plates, for a road master tow bar. I know this the base plates you are selling for 2012 doesnt look like it will fit. I also have the factory skid plate that came with the truck. I was wondering if you have base plates that would fit my 4 x 4 I already talked to the rear drive shaft specialist in reguards to create a specail drive shaft that will disnconect the rear drive shaft. Please let me know if you have such base plates for this year and model 4 x 4? Thank you.

According to my Roadmaster representative, the # 1175-1 is indeed compatible with your 2012 Tacoma 4x4.
I typically recommend that folks confirm the flat towability of their vehicle, but it sounds like you are already on top of that.
In addition to the tow bar and base plates, you will also need safety cables, a lighting solution and a supplemental braking system. For safety cables, I would recommend the # RM-646. There are several different wiring and braking solutions available. If you click on the FAQ articles I have linked to, you can see the different alternatives and their advantages and drawbacks.
