Question:

i need a ebike carrier for the top of my tonneau cover for two bikes. not one for a hitch. The cross bars are 3in wide made by voo doo fab.

I may have another option but there are currently not any two bike carriers for electric bikes that will work on crossbars. The single bike options like the Thule ProRide XT Roof Bike Rack # TH598004-FB will work with your 3" wide crossbars but are only rated for bikes weighing 44lbs or less which is likely not enough for an electric bike.

The option I recommend is adding a roof basket that will fit the area above your tonneau cover like the Curt Roof Mounted Cargo Basket - 64-1/2" Long x 39" Wide # C18115-117 which will support up to 150lbs and allow you to use ratchet straps like # EM78627-MS to secure your two bikes to the basket.

The only other option is one you mentioned you weren't interested in which is a hitch mounted carrier like the Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # Y36FR which is designed to carry two electric bikes weighing up to 66lbs each.

If you can measure the space you have available above your tonneau cover I would be happy to recommend the correct cargo basket for your dimensions.
