Question:
Have not used my new Inno Aero Bars yet, however after placing the bars on the roof, following all measurements, the bars appear too far forward on the vehicle. Once I put my Thule box on the bars, the box looks awkward, and more forward than I would prefer. Question: Can I mount them back say an inch or 2 on the roof? dont have directions in front of me, but if I recall, front bar is about 9 inches forward of the middle point where doors come together

Expert Reply:
When installing the Inno Aero Crossbars part # INXB138-2, Inno Through Feet for Aero Crossbars part # INXS250 and the Custom Fit Kit for Inno Crossbars part # INK676 we must follow the installation instructions exactly. This is where the rack was designed to to be installed and tested for performance.
Mounting it in any other location would void the warranty and may lead to damage occurring to your 2017 Lincoln MKX.
