Are there any other cheaper options that may work for me? I really like the one you chose so if pushed I can get that one but was hoping to spend a little less if possible?!? Thanks so much for all your help!

For carbon framed bikes you need to carry them with a bike rack that only touches the bikes by the tires since the frame material is delicate and easily damaged. So for that you could use the very popular and easy to use Kuat NV part # BA22B which is widely considered to be the best bike rack for carbon bikes.
Then when you are ready to expand it to a 4-bike rack you'd just need the part # BA02B and you'd be set.
