Suspension Enhancement Recommendation for 2016 Ford F-150 Towing Boat Trailer
Updated 11/19/2020 | Published 11/18/2020 >
Question:
I currently tow a 9-10K boat depending on fuel level with a 2016 3.5 F150 max tow. It has the power, but I want better highway stability. My last boat at only 7K felt dramatically more stable at highway speeds. What would you recommend? Also, the truck has bilsteins in the front at +2 inches and 1 inch rear blocks in the rear so it sits just about level when not towing. I would also like to get rid of the sag while towing. FYI, truck has a 93 octane tow tune and 10plys. Please advise!

For your 2016 Ford F-150 the best suspension enhancement kit we offer is the RoadActive Suspension Kit part # RAS3611-YHD as it will give you the support you want while dramatically improving stability and ride quality whereas other option will make the ride quality harsher.
