Can NOCO 329-GCP1 Be Directly Wired to Oulet

Question:
I just received my GCP1 and I have a question. Can I cut off the extension plug and wire to an outlet. I want to have a clean installation for an outlet vs having a loose pigtail hanging.

The female end of the # 329-GCP1 could be removed and directly connected to an outlet if you wish, although the product wasn't designed for use in that manner.
