Fit of Thule TH898 Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier on 2019 Subaru Outback Wagon With Thule Crossbars

Question:

Does the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak work for a 2019 Outback Touring? If not what would I need to make it work? The cross bars on the vehicle are Thule bars.

If your existing crossbars extend 4 to 8 inches beyond the outboard edge of the roof rack foot as shown in the provided diagram, the Thule # TH898 Hullavator Pro would work perfectly for you. This 4 to 8 inch clearance is necessary to prevent the carrier from hitting the side of the vehicle when it's lowered.

If you need longer crossbars, I'd be happy to make a recommendation if you reply with the length and style (square or aero) of your current crossbars.
