What Cargo Net and Tie Down Straps Fit the Rhino-Rack XTray Pro Cargo Basket and 2 Bike Carrier?

Which cargo net and straps fit this tray-RRRMCB03? The instruction manual says the ratchet style straps are not recommended for this unit. Why is that? Is it because of road vibration?

The Rhino-Rack XTray Pro Cargo Basket and 2 Bike Carrier # RRRMCB03 is 58-1/4 by 41 inches at the base or 55-3/4 inches by 39-3/4 inches at the top so you can connect wherever is most convenient for your load to be secured.
The Stretchable Cargo Net and Tie-Down Straps for Rhino-Rack Steel Mesh Cargo Basket - 47-1/5" x 31-1/2" # RLN1-RTD4 is a great option for this carrier as long as the load is evenly distributed. If you just want the net it is # RLN1. Ratcheting straps are not recommended because of the torque they can put on the basket which can alter the shape and durability. The etrailer.com Cam Buckle Cinch Straps w/ Buckle Protectors - 1" x 13' - 293 lbs - Qty 2 # E98876-2 are the style of fastener the manufacturer recommends just like those in the kit if you want additional options. If you want lockable straps you can use # RRRTD45L which lock with a key.
